Climbing shrub, perennial and thorny, with vigorous branches that can reach 8 meters high. Rather than climbing what it does is lean, thence the branches must be fixed with wires. It blooms in spring, summer and until the beginning of autumn.
There is a great variety of colors of its flowers, they can be white, pink, carmine, purple, yellow, etc.
It can grow without problems in flowerpots stands, but they are plants with sensitive roots, intolerant to transplantation, especially if they are specimens that are several years old.
It needs a lot of sun to flower intensely and does not stand intense frost. Once it grows, it becomes more resistant than when it was young, but even so, it will be damaged below -4ºC, so try to cover it in winter to protect it from frost, but remember to open it to air during the day or if you have it in pot you can place it inside the house.
It adapts to any type of soil. It does not require continuous irrigation, in summer if it is on the ground we can water it once or twice a week depending on the temperatures.
Try to water at the first or last hour of the day without wetting the flowers to avoid burning with the sun. Add a liquid fertilizer every two weeks in the months of flowering.
